It all started when Kristina turned to the internet in hopes to meet some new friends after moving back to NJ.

She ended up meeting Ben, who suggested they meet up. Because that's what friends do - she agreed.

During a phone conversation, Ben casually slipped in that he was thinking of places for their "first date" Kristina, surprised and ever skeptical, warned that the odds were not in his favor for a second. Nevertheless, she agreed.

Yet, the first date went amazingly, which lead to a second, third, and well ... an eventual engagement.

On March 16, 2024, Ben took Kristina to Central Park in NYC. After seeing Belvedere Castle, and strolling over the Bow Bridge, Ben went down on one knee and proposed in front of the Bethesda Fountain.

It was an easy yes!
